Are we there yet? Nearly! Only 2 more days to go to the Negenmaandenbeurs mother and child trade fair in Amsterdam. From February 24th to 28th Naïf and three other Dutch brands will shake up the Rai in our Mom’s Favorites square. The third friend to be introduced is called FRESK and ensures that babies are dressed appropriately adorable.
Fresk is the brand of Mark and Katja van Aardenne, brother and sister with Scandinavian roots. They are anything but strangers to the baby world. Ever since 2001, they distribute qualitative and trendy accessories for babies and kids on the European market. For years they had dreamt of their own baby product line. In 2013 they finally made it come true and launched their baby Fresk.
The name Fresk stands for the philosophy behind this fresh young brand.“We combine the headstrong Netherlands with a touch of vintage from Scandinavia!” tells us Katja. “Our range is magical, a bit sassy and has beautiful designs. The products are made from soft, organic cotton which guarantees a perfect fit and comfortable wearing.”
Taking responsibility for the environment and producing fairly is very important to Fresk. Founder Mark assures: "All products are made with care and high awareness. All of them are designed in the Netherlands and - with only exception of the swaddels - produced in Europe. Our production follows the standards of the GOTS seal of approval and uses exclusively textiles made of 100% organic cotton.”
What do we think? We think Fresk’s new collection is clean but colorful, cute but cheeky and fits perfectly into the room of a little one. Even better so, with a Naïf tube next to it of course. ;)
