Fact or fiction: as long as you do not burn, the sun is not harmful

Geposted von am

Not true. Even without burning, the sun can be harmful. Sun radiation (UV radiation) causes an increased risk of skin cancer. The combination of how often someone is exposed to direct sunlight, the exposure pattern, and the amount of sun increase the risk of the most common forms of skin cancer. These are squamous cell carcinoma and basal cell carcinoma.* Therefore, it is important to re-apply sunscreen on yourself and onto your child every two hours and always have your child wear UV-resistant clothing. This does not mean that your child must walk around the street wearing a wetsuit because they also need to get vitamin D. Just make sure that they are protected. Your skin recalls every sunbeam from the moment you were born. Kids love to have fun in the sun Skin cancer: you do not want it in your life. You do not, and certainly neither does your child. So apply sunscreen! Preferably every two hours. Use a sunscreen with mineral filters. Try to keep your little one out of direct sunlight as much as possible, especially between 12h00 and 15h00. The question now is, do you already have our Naïf Sunscreen in your collection? Order here. No one likes a sunburned baby After a sunny day, your mini-me can use some extra care.
